With over 39,000 participants, record-breaking performances, and thousands of spectators cheering from the sidelines, it was truly a weekend to remember on Queensland’s glittering Gold Coast. The atmosphere was electric as runners from around the country and beyond were pushed their limits—and the Bailey Minchington Running Scholarship Team rose to the occasion.
💥 Personal Best Performances Across the Board:
Taking to the start line in their new Nike apparel—generously provided by Nike, the four scholarship recipients ran with purpose, pride, and passion.
Tiana Cetta led the charge with a phenomenal time of 1:13:22, placing her among the top female runners in the field and reaffirming her status as one of Australia’s brightest middle-distance prospects.“I had no expectations on myself going into the race,” said Tiana. “I felt so relaxed to just enjoy the event and run at my own pace.”
Jamison Borg broke through the 80-minute barrier with a gutsy 1:19:48, showcasing the consistency and discipline that has become his trademark.“The best race of my life!” Jamison said. “After a great training block I lowered my goal time by 2 minutes and everything came together perfectly on race day. After a sprint finish I achieved my goal with more than a 4-minute PB!”
Noa Goddard delivered an inspired run to clock 1:32:15, a significant personal best and a result that reflects her rising potential.“After a successful block of training, I went to Gold Coast feeling highly motivated and prepared,” said Noa. “The course really suited me, and I felt stronger as the kilometres went on, making it possible for me to set a personal best.”
Zoe Berry followed closely with a determined 1:32:39, rounding out a powerful team performance that highlighted the depth of talent in the inaugural scholarship cohort.“Running in the Gold Coast half marathon was a truly amazing and memorable experience,” said Zoe. “I gave it my all and went home with a 10-minute PB!”
Each athlete ran their heart out on a course known for its speed and spectacle, cheered on by the RunAsOne Coaching community and a growing support base inspired by the team’s journey.
Adding to the excitement, Bailey Minchington Running Scholarships Ambassador and co-founder of RunAsOne, Riley Cocks, marked his comeback with an exceptional performance in the 10km event, finishing strong in 29:39—a powerful reminder of his class and resilience as an elite athlete.
