Introducing BMRST2026 Team Member Jack Atherton

Meet Jack Atherton – an 800m specialist who loves nothing more than starting the day with an early morning run, Nutella on toast (or a banana), and the mindset to attack the day ahead. A fan of speed and fast tracks, Jack’s favourite place to race is the SA Athletics Stadium, where he can truly put the foot down over his preferred distance, the 800m. While the thought of a 5km still sends a shiver down his spine, Jack dreams of one day racing at the iconic Hayward Field in Eugene. When the sessions get tough, you’ll likely find him in his Oakley sunnies with Hate It or Love It by The Game & 50 Cent setting the tone. Inspired by Harry Whitford and fuelled post-run by a YoPro and cookie combo, Jack brings both competitiveness and gratitude to the BMRST2026 team. And if running doesn’t work out? He can always fall back on playing the guitar… “ish.”
