The 2025 Melbourne Marathon Festival, one of Australia’s most celebrated running events, was held on Sunday, 12 October 2025 in the heart of Melbourne. Athletes of all distances took over the city’s iconic streets, showcasing remarkable endurance, speed, and personal triumph. Among the most inspiring competitors were the standout performers from the Bailey Minchington Running Scholarship Team, who delivered exceptional results across multiple events — from the 10 km to the Half Marathon.
Tiana Cetta – Podium Finish in the 10 km
Tiana Cetta delivered a sensational performance in the 10 km run, finishing as the 3rd female overall out of 4,992 female participants. Crossing the line in a time of 34:58, Tiana’s result was one of the team’s most impressive achievements of the day. Her consistency and pacing strategy paid off, securing a hard-earned spot on the podium among an elite field of runners.
Zoe Berry – Strong 10 km Effort
Also in the 10 km event, Zoe Berry demonstrated strong race execution while returning from injury, clocking a time of 48:50. Zoe’s performance reflected solid preparation and a competitive spirit, adding to the Team's overall success across the Festival.
Jamison Borg – Competitive Half Marathon Time
In the Half Marathon, Jamison Borg put in a powerful run, finishing with a time of 1:26:40. Jamison’s time reflects a strong resilience over the challenging 21.1 km distance after returning to racing after a bout of flu which interrupted his preparation.
Noa Goddard – Personal Best in Half Marathon
Another standout in the Half Marathon was Noa Goddard, who crossed the finish line in 1:31:06, recording a powerful personal best (PB). Noa’s achievement is a testament to dedicated training and mental toughness — shaving valuable time off her previous performances and setting a new benchmark for her competitive future.
